GENERAL FAQ

Do I need a car?
We recommend a car for guests staying in Arrowhead Village to ensure convenient access to shopping and restaurants.  Arrowhead is only two miles from Edwards which offers a variety of dining and shopping options.  If you are staying in Beaver Creek or Bachelor Gulch, Village Transportation offers complimentary transportation within the resort, so a car is unnecessary.  In Avon Village, complimentary shuttle service is available within the town and to Beaver Creek Resort.

How do we get there?
Because of Trappers' exclusive location on the mountain, it is only accessible by skiing, snowshoeing, or snow cat in the winter.  We recommend that you check in at The Osprey at Beaver Creek and leave your luggage with your personal cabin assistant.  Then, enjoy your day of skiing and ski into Trappers at the end of the day.  Your luggage will be waiting for you, along with toasty warm slippers, a champagne toast*, and appetizers* (*All inclusive package only).  At the end of your stay, ski out and spend the day on the slopes.  When you are ready to depart, you luggage will be back at The Osprey so that you can change out of your gear and into your travel clothes for the journey home.

Snow cat transportation can also be arranged if you will not be arriving or departing when the ski slopes are open.
In the summer, Trappers is accessible with a four-wheel drive vehicle or you can arrange for a horseback ride from Beaver Creek Stables to the cabin.
