Do I need a car?
We recommend a car for guests staying in Arrowhead Village to ensure convenient access to shopping and restaurants. Arrowhead is only 2 miles from Edwards which offers a variety of dining and shopping options. If you are staying in Beaver Creek or Bachelor Gulch, Village Transportation offers complimentary transportation within the resort, so a car is unnecessary. In Avon Village, complimentary shuttle service is available within the town and to Beaver Creek Resort.

How do I rent skis?
You can book ski rentals through Beaver Creek Sports, located on the Beaver Creek Plaza, through our reservations department. Our concierge can also assist with ski rentals that can be fitted in the comfort of your room.

How far is Vail and how do I get there if I don't rent a car?
Vail is only 10 miles east of Beaver Creek. It takes approximately 15 minutes by car. Shuttle transportation is available for $5 per person. Our front desk or concierge staff can also arrange a taxi.

What is your cancellation policy?
Deposit Policy
Summer Season: A one-night room and tax deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Full payment is due and non-refundable 5 days hours prior to arrival and will be applied to the credit card at that time unless another form of payment is received.
Winter Season: A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable. Final payment will be applied to the credit card at that time unless another form of payment is received. Reservations booked within 30 days of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking. For reservations arriving between 12/23/12 & 1/3/13, a 25% deposit is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 60 days prior to arrival, at which time the reservation is non-refundable and non-changeable.
Holiday Season: A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due and non-refundable 60 days prior to arrival and will be applied to the credit card at that time unless another form of payment is received. Reservations booked within 60 days of arrival will require full payment at the time of booking.
Note: For all seasons, you will automatically be enrolled in the Vail Resorts "Peaks" loyalty program, at no cost to you, if you purchased lift tickets. You will receive program information by standard mail and will be offered the chance to decline.

What is the bedding in the units?'
The bedding varies in each individual unit, however, all master bedrooms have either a king or queen bed. Additional bedrooms usually have either 2 twins or a second large bed. Occasionally bunk beds and sleeper sofas are available. We do our best to accommodate all bedding requests. To assist with this process, please make sure that you include an accurate guest count when booking the reservation.

Are you a family friendly resort?
Absolutely! Beaver Creek is well known for its family activities, Children's ski school, and Thursday night fireworks display. There are plenty activities to keep the entire family busy and happy!

There is a discount for booking lift tickets in advance. The amount of the discount varies based on the number of ski days and the season.

How do I get to ski school?
Group ski school is located on the Beaver Creek Plaza. Shuttle service to the plaza is available from all properties. Private lessons will pick up at the guest's convenience.

Yes, we strongly recommend booking ski school in advance, particularly for holiday periods. It is best to book ski school as soon as you book your lodging.

What is there to do in Beaver Creek if you don't want to ski?
There are lots of activities in Beaver Creek for non-skiers. McCoy Park offers non-skiers the opportunity to go to the top of the mountain without downhill skis. You can snow shoe or cross country ski at the top of the Strawberry Park lift. There is an outdoor ice skating rink on the main plaza, in addition to the extensive shopping options. A day at the spa and a plethora of World Class Dining are just a couple of the fabulous leisure activities available to guests in Beaver Creek Resort!

How close are you to the lift?
We are the closest hotel to a ski lift in North America. Store your skis in your private ski locker and step out the door. The Strawberry Park lift is less than 20 feet away. Going straight to ski school? The Beaver Creek Village is just across the street from us making it easy to access ski school, shops, restaurants, the ice rink and more!

Do you have a restaurant?
We serve a continental breakfast at the Osprey Lounge from 7:00 am to 9:30pm. We also serve a a tapas menu from 11am-10pm at the Osprey Lounge. There are many great full service restaurants within walking distance and our concierge staff would be happy to make reservations for you.

How do I arrange for equipment rental?
Please contact our concierge at 970.754.7400 to arrange for an in-room ski fitting upon your arrival. Avoid lines and crowded ski shops by having the professionals come to you.

What type of parking is available?
All on-sight parking at The Osprey at Beaver Creek is valet and is included in the resort fee. Complimentary parking is also available off site and the base of Beaver Creek Resort. Shuttles run from the parking lots to the Village on a regular basis.

Should I rent a car?
With the great location of The Osprey at Beaver Creek, it is not necessary to rent a car. Transportation can be arranged from either DIA or the Eagle Airport and once you are here, Village Transportation provides complimentary shuttle service anywhere within Beaver Creek Resort.

Do you have a fitness center?
We have a small fitness room with a stationary bike, an elliptical machine, steam room, and sauna. For a full fitness center, you also have access to our sister hotel, The Pines Lodge. In-room massages are available, and full spa services can be found within 5 minutes of the hotel. Our concierge would happy to assist with booking spa appointments.

What are the sleeping arrangements?
There are three bedrooms upstairs. The first bedroom has a king bed and attached bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and attached bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a bathroom with shower across the hallway. Downstairs, there is the Game Room with a billiard table and game table. This room also has a king bed and a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed attached. There is a bathroom with a shower attached to this room.

How do we get there?
Because of Trappers exclusive location on the mountain, it is only accessible by skiing, snowshoeing, or snow cat in the winter. We recommend that you check in at The Inn at Beaver Creek and leave your luggage with your personal cabin assistant. Then, enjoy your day of skiing and ski into Trappers at the end of the day. Your luggage will be waiting for you along with toasty warm slippers, a champagne toast*, and appetizers* (*All inclusive package only). At the end of your stay, ski out and spend the day on the slopes. When you are ready to depart, you luggage will be back at the Inn at Beaver Creek so that you can change out of your gear and into your travel clothes for the journey home.
Snow cat transportation can also be arranged if you will not be arriving or departing when the ski slopes are open.
In the summer, Trappers is accessible with a four-wheel drive vehicle or you can arrange for a horseback ride from Beaver Creek Stables to the cabin.
